I sent this note to my leaders today. I feel it's good advice and hope it will be helpful.
So excited about all the advancements in my DL! As we are building our teams, I'd like to share an important, personal philosophy.
-Now that you are a leader, you have a responsibility to support, encourage, incentivize and uplift your team. You're a a business owner! You own a company now!! Wahoo!! If you're gonna turn this biz into long term residual, beach money, growing and supporting your team is #1! REMEMBER! You need them more than they need you! They don't make make a dime off how you perform but you'll make a KILLING if they are successful!! For example, I'll make over $1k from one leg of my DL this month! How much do you think she's making off me? NOTHING! NADDA! ZILTCH! See what I'm saying? It's people management. Probably the hardest part of managing a biz. My advice is to try to see things from their point of view. There are external customers (people that buy stuff from you), but there are also internal customers. Your DL are your internal customers and the customer is always right... BE supportive. BE available. BE generous and BE understanding.
