Those that attended the inagurial Younique convention, had the honor of getting to know Derek on a more personal level. It was indeed an honor.
He shared personal stories about his battle with leukemia, his struggles with stuttering, a horrible accident and how his family and his faith saw him through.
When your time comes and you have the opportunity to get to know Derek and his amazing wife, mother and sisters, take it! Why? Because he is unintentionally inspiring which is far more inspirational than those who are being paid to inspire.
