Shower Meetings....

What?  You don't have those? 

When #TheHubs and I remodeled our master bathroom several years ago, we took out the bathtub and installed the biggest, most amazing shower EVER!  Well, for us it is anyway.  This beauty is about 40-50 sq ft and has dual heads.  One set at the perfect height for him and one for me!  TheHubs isn't giant or anything but before the remodel he shared that he has never lived in a home where the shower didn't hit him in the chest.  So, CUSTOM HEAD HEIGHT IT WAS!! 

Making dreams come true... it's my job!

At a holiday party several years ago, we stacked 26 of our friends inside just to see how many people we could fit.  I'm not home to take a photo right now but here is one from several years ago.... 

 

This is my sweet friend Rashonda and I hope she doesn't mind that I'm positing this!  LOL.  When people come over, they like to see the shower.  My nephew LOVES to take a shower when he is here even if its not needed.  It's just fun and a happy place for us.

ANYWHOOOO.....  TheHubs and I try really hard to shower together everyday.  We call these moments "shower meetings".  This is where major life decisions are finalized.  We talk about family, work, our future etc.  We come together and make decisions about things we are working toward and on.  Crazy right?  We are a little wacky like that.  BEFORE YOU GO GETTING ALL GROSSED OUT, there isn't anything at all sexual about these "shower meetings".  STRICTLY BUSINESS my friends!  I SWEAR!

For over 20 years, our income has been impacted by the price of oil.  Sometimes good, sometimes bad.  It's been a roller coasters.  We are both in the Oil and Gas support Industries (well, I WAS in the industry but am retired now) and I was a Mining specialist so my income (good and bad) fluxed with the price of gold as well. 

This morning TheHubs said something pretty profound that I hadn't really considered before. 

He said.... 

"I'm pretty happy that your income isn't dependent on the price of oil anymore.  That's nice."

 

I thought WOW!  He is so right.  For two decades our corporate income was impacted by market changes in oil and gold.  With my Network Marketing and Party Plan biz, those impacts are minimal.  If anything, my business has been impacted in a positive way whether oil and gold prices are up and down.  When prices are down and companies are laying people off, they start looking for a PLAN B and often find it in a company like mine.  Also, when gas prices drop with the price of oil, people have more disposable income so they spend more.  When commodity prices are higher, people are working and earning more and they spend more and have more parties etc.  It's been my experience

1.  Interview a few different Presenters and choose the Sponsor that is right for you.  Don't feel obligated if your gut is telling you that something doesn't feel right.  You cannot change sponsors after the fact so who you choose is very important.  ITS YOUR CHOICE!
2.  Purchase a domain name (if your name has YOUNIQUE or any product names in the title, you must get approval from support@YouniqueProducts.com prior to using the domain)
3.  Set up a biz page on FB unify the page with the same name as your domain (BRANDING YOURSELF)
4.  Reroute your domain to land on your Facebook biz page.  Once you are registered with Younique, you can change the lading to your Younique website.
5.  Educate yourself on our company, products and tools
6.  Start reaching out/networking and building your team today.  Line up presenter to mentor once you are activated on 10/1/14
7.  Start educating your team TODAY
8.  Although selling into the UK doesn't start until 11/1/14, you can host VP's and sell product into any other Countries where Younique is currently active!

Getting “The Hubs” involved…..

I realize that not all married women are as lucky as I am.  Many don’t have supportive husbands or even husbands that TOLORATE their MLM/DS dreams!  My poor hubs never had a choice.  Support in my household isn’t an option.  By force or by nature, I am one of the lucky ones.  He is very open and supportive of all my shenanigans!  You must get your Significant Other (SO) on board if you are ever going to be truly successful.  Its up to you to decide if that is a possibility.  Include them in creating your goals and your vision board.  Include them in your business milestones and your progress.  Also include them by sharing your struggles and concerns.  This is their JOB as your SO... they have a role to play as your support team.  Your cheerleading squad.  Your champion.

Last night The Hubs and I had dinner with our friends Karen and Milo.  Karen recently launched her own Direct Sales biz and chose YOUNIQUE!  Yah know…. Cause she is a genius!  ANY-WHOOO……

There we were at dinner the guys are chit chatting about man stuff while Karen and I chit chatted about world domination one set of eyelashes at a time, when all the sudden they were pulled into the convo.  Karen was strongly suggesting to Milo that he should parade around town in a tshirt with her website on the front!  I of course had her back 100% because I thought it was a brilliant idea! 

The Hubs then suggested that perhaps there was an untapped market down at the local strip club and that he and Milo should ABSOLUTELY hustle right down there and network! 

You know... on behalf of our business!

Who knew our SO's were such givers?!  smh...... 

As we outwardly POO-POO'd their idea... don't think for one second that Karen and I aren't on THAT like rats on CHEESE!  Stay tuned for how that turns out....

I believe there is so much (often) unappreciated value in the idea’s that float around in the heads of our significant others (SO’s).  Maybe we don't give them enough credit.  Have we really asked?  Have we really shared?  Have we really listened?  We should never discount their thoughts or opinions and we should NEVER not include them in our wins and our struggles.

I posted a tip quite awhile ago about ALWAYS sending your SO out the door with a pocket full of you biz cards.  Just making him aware of opportunities is a positive fall forward for your business.  So, RIGHT NOW, go put some biz cards in his wallet/her purse!  Give them to your kids!  Arm your loved ones with what they need to have in order to support the dreams and goals you have as a family.

Today I had the pleasure of a Skype meeting with one of my beautiful first levels, TIFFANY!  Tiffany's husband is in the pest control industry.  This calls for him to be inside many homes a day!  He has access to HUNDREDS of Stay at Home Moms in any given month!

So... we got to thinking!  What if we developed a challenge for him.  Of course it would also hold a handsome reward as well!  CLICK HERE TO SEE THE CHALLENGE WE CAME UP WITH!

 

Include your SO in your biz!  Bounce idea's off of them.  Just because they may not wear makeup or use your product, doesn't mean they don't have some thoughts or suggestions on how you may be able to grow!  Don't assume they don't care, aren't interested or won't be supportive.  TRY IT!

I'm EXHAUSTED!  But it's BLISSFUL exhaustion!


WOW!  What a week I've had!  In the last 4 days I traveled from Anchorage, AK to Fairbanks, AK then from Fairbanks back to Anchorage then from Anchorage to Vegas and from Vegas back to Anchorage!  and....BOY ARE MY ARMS TIRED (buh-dum-dum)!

In Fairbanks I was able to see my son at the airport!  Passing like ships in the night!  He was coming in as I was headed out!  There is ALWAYS time for kiss, a hug and a SELFIE!  He works as a Firefighter and Medic at Kuparuk which is in the Prudhoe Bay Oilfields at the very tippy top of Alaska... GOOGLE IT!

I was also able to meet with one of my favorite people in the WORLD!  SueAnn! 

SueAnn was the second person to join my Younique adventure.  She is also a Founding Presenter and she is one of my First Generation Elites!  Its so nice to spend one on one time with other leaders in our company.  Its rare!  Mostly because we are all so busy managing our own books of business!

I saw a few other team members while I was there as well.  BUSY 12 hours!  PHEW!

This weekend was my only free weekend in MONTHS and I needed to pop into our home in Vegas to take care of a few things so OFF I WENT!  While there, I was so fortunate to be able to interview with an amazing woman named Susan!  I'm so hopeful she chooses me as her sponsor.  Regardless, Younique will be lucky to have her!  So many beautiful women with so many amazing stories! 

I met with Katrina which was GREAT FUN and she gifted me this awesome 3D Keychain!  HOW SWEET IS SHE? 

Vegas is always GREAT but I made one HUGE, ROOKIE, Direct Sales mistake that I still can't stop thinking about!  Wanna hear what it was?  CLICK HERE FOR THE VIDEO RECAP OF  MY MISSADVENTURE!  Hindsight is always 20/20 right? 

BELIEVE YOU ME!  I more than made up for this on the plane ride home!  The poor guy next to me went home with a catalog and 4 business cards with a challenge to give them to 4 very specific types of women!  LOL!  Oddly, I don't think he thought I was nuts at all....  hmmmm....

I have had sleeping issues for years.  Before I even started working my Younique business, it was very rare that I would experience a full 4 hours+ of sleep!  I'm not sure why exactly.  I did all the right things.  I have a beautiful and relaxing environment, set to the ideal temperature, fine linens, a great mattress, perfect pillows... THE WORKS!  I've read every article, consulted my doctor, changed my eating habits, taken sleep aids...I've TRIED IT ALL I TELL YAH!  No dice!

Then I started my Younique business (Mar 2013) and for the first 6-8 months NEVER slept.  Literally didn't sleep more than a couple hours at a time.  But, the difference was, I had my business to work on instead of laying there in bed, frustrated that I was awake when I should have been sleeping!  I WORKED ALL THE TIME!  I loved it!  It really isn't work at all of course if you are doing something you are MADLY IN LOVE WITH right?  SO TRUE!

For about the last 3 months or so I haven't had any problem sleeping at all.  My brain is so exhausted each night, I just seem to collapse in the sack!  LIGHTS OUT the instant my head hits my pillow!  Sleeping every night with a huge smile on my face.  That has been a great improvement!

For the last couple of weeks I have been feeling exhausted though.  Like during the day.  I think I need to work on setting some office hours and finding a bit more balance.  I don't feel stress about it but I don't like feeling tired during the day either.  Im exhausted but it is BLISSFUL EXHAUSTION!

If you struggle with no sleep...I invite you to feel BLISSFULLY EXHAUSTED WITH ME!

This last weekend (4th of July) I spent quite a bit of time being THANKFUL for my freedom.  Thankful for all those that gave so that I may have.

 For me, freedom comes, in part, from FINANCIAL FREEDOM.  Although The Hubs and I have always managed our money well, stayed out of debt, earned higher than average incomes, invested etc...  The last 8 months with YOUNIQUE have changed everything we thought about our future and what is possible for us.

The Hubs and I went camping (again... I KNOW!  BUT WE ONLY HAVE LIKE 10 weekends a year we can go!) and we spent a lot of time discussing our future, our possibilities, our freedoms.  Everything we do, we do for our family and the future of our family.  Younique and Network Marketing companies in general, are an answer to the prayers of so many.

The 2014 Younique incentive trip winners were announced a couple weeks ago!  Apparently, YOURS TRULY is a loser…….

 

 I’ve done a couple videos now so, in my mind, I fancy myself a bit of an actress!  I guess I kind of know how Emmy nominated actresses feel when they are nominated but not “chosen”… I can TOTES RELATE to poor Susan Lucci! 

After all, we are kindred spirits now.  Whether she will ever know it or not.  I should send Suze (I’m going to start calling her Suze, now that we are tight like that) some free 3D mascara!  If any of my blog readers have a connect to her, let me know! HA!

I feel like I need to prepare a speech or an interview!   “I’d like to thank The Academy…. It’s an honor just to be nominated…. Blah blah blah…”  I’ll deliver my speech then go to my dressing room and stick pins in 10 purple Voodoo Dolls I had custom made to resemble each of the winners of the Greece trip!

 Obviously I’m kidding!  Well…. Kinda….  I am whole heartily THRILLED and so excited for those that qualified.  That is the honest truth.  There are no green feelings.  No Jealousy.  No envy.  The fact is, I’m feeling very disappointed in myself and sad that I didn’t qualify for either of the incentive trips in 2014.  Maybe a bit embarrassed as well?  I am a leader in this company and if I didn’t qualify, what message does that send to the men and women in my DL?  That it is an impossibility?  That it isn’t worth try for?  That I have better things to do?  That I don’t really believe in my company?  None of that is true.  Not one bit of it.  And how MORTIFYING to go to convention and have everyone assume I made it and having to explain over and over why I didn’t qualify.  If I share out loud that I am “ok with it” then other GO GETTER'S are going to look at me like I’m a freak!  This business is about GOALS and about putting in the work it takes to achieve them!

When the winners were announce, The Hubs and I were rolling out of town to go camping in our RV.  No reception so a couple things happened. 1)  I wasn’t in on the celebration via social media. 2)  I had lots of time to reflect on what the heck happened!  WHERE DID I GO WRONG?  3) The Hubs actually caught a rock....I'M FREAKIN' SERIOUS!  He literally caught a rock!  Now that takes all kinds of extra super human awesomeness!  I snapped this pic!

 

 

It seemed impossible to believe when you factor in that I am a FOUNDING PRESENTER, A LEADER and  top earner (yes, that is a shameless plug), I work my business full time, when well over half of all Younique Presenters in the world are in my downline and I have among the highest Company wholesale sales levels.  Crazy right.  It’s no ones fault but my own.  I believe over 200 Presenters qualified for the cruise and although the Greece trip was for 10, there were a few tied places so more than 10 are actually going.  CLEARLY!  Its not them it’s me!

The qualifications were very clearly outlined.  Younique even adjusted the incentive requirements mid way to make it easier for people to achieve.  They are generous that way.  I just didn’t do what it took.

So, sitting on the banks of the Klutina River, watching The Hubs fish, I tried hard to look inside and see what the heck is going on with my business.  I think its obvious, I am stuck.  (ps.... it was a beautiful scene until a film crew showed up!  OUT OF NOWHERE and ruined our ZEN!  DUDE!  I can't make this stuff up!  Sitting in the middle of the wilderness, all alone.... just me and my HUBS then THIS HAPPENED....... a 14 person crew filming a reality TV show came plowing through the woods!  They are lucky they didn't get shot (by accident of course)...

 

When I started with Younique, we had NOTHING.  Not a thing.  No training tools, very little product, no direction.  It is a blessing more than a curse of course but it is more than clear that the Presenters coming in now are achieving much more and much more quickly than most Founding Presenters.  I think this is because we (I) have sacrificed our (my) own business to help our teams grow.  Building tools, holding trainings, creating websites, spreadsheets, graphics, training decks, conference calls, FB pages and groups. Everything that it takes to start up a biz, we had to create.  Even though a mass majority of those tools are available by Younique Corporate now, I think Im still stuck in that roll.  I think I like it there.  I love to mentor and cheer and guide and to be a resource to thousands.  However, I think it is keeping me from moving up to the next level with my business.  Did I mention that next level ranges between $20k-$40k more in income a month right now!  I NEED TO GET SERIOUS about letting go of the busy work and focus on revenue generating activities.

Let’s be real, Younique is paying me an ABSURD amount of money right now.  If I wanted to go to Greece I could literally go tomorrow!  BUT THAT IS NOT THE SAME THING! 

I want to go with my Ysisters! 

I want to be there with them when they are visiting about their business and brainstorming and sharing ideas. 

I want to be there with the company leaders and my friends in this business. 

I want to share in the photo opportunities and have that memory to look back on. 

I WANTED TO GO TO GREECE WITH MY PEEPS!

Thank you for letting me vent!  I'm not a fan of negativity or rolling around in your sorrow.  I don’t live there… but even the most positive and productive people need to pass through there from time to time.  I’m over it now.  I will congratulate my fellow Ysisters and I will live through their photo’s and moments.  Most of all, I want to wish everyone who earned their places, safe and fruitful travels!

Corporate EmployeesIn June 2013, Younique had 7 employees.
This June Younique Corporate has grown to over 125 full-time equivalent employees.
That’s 1,686% growth!


Daily OrdersBy the end of May 2013, we were processing an average of 55 orders per day.
This May we processed an average 5,278 orders per day.
That’s 9,496% growth!  No wonder we are having to move into a new warehouse! 

Monthly SalesIn June 2013, our sales for the entire month were $169K.
On June 01, 2014 we processed $169K in sales before shipping even went home for the day!  Even if we used May sales numbers, which were 12.8 million, that’s 7,474% growth!  In 12 months!

I had to block a couple Presenters this month and it hurt my heart.....

I have a difficult time working with a blanket of negativity on a regular basis.  I don't see the value in moseying through life with a glass half empty attitude and a "woe is me" point of view.  I for sure struggle with vulgar and profane expressions and projections on innocent people.  It is amazing I suppose that with the sheer volume of people in my company that we don't get hit with more of this I suppose.  For that, I am certainly thankful!

This month, I had to remove some people from my group and from my friends list on FB.  I've never met these people in real life but it still stung a bit... yah know?

One time consuming and previously unconsidered issue with having a team so huge, is all the different personalities that come into your life.  The 'Human Resource' side of Network Marketing.  But, I am learning and growing and doing my best to influence positive and empowering feelings in my Company.  IM TRYING PEOPLE!

As of this morning, there are approximately 42,683 Presenters (GLOBALLY) with Younique.  We launched in Australia on May 1st and just launched in New Zealand on June 1st!  Of course we are already in the USA and Canada as well.

Of those 42k Presenters, 21,757 of them are in my Downline.  Clearly I don't have direct contact with all 22k of my team members.  Thankfully my leaders are LEADING!  But, I do have direct contact with several thousand and I LOVE THEM! Keep in mind, I am Founding Presenter #319 and launched my own business in Feb/2013.  Look how far we've come! Isn't this momentum INSANE?
 

Our Co-Founders recently announced that very shortly we will have confirmation that Younique is THE FASTEST GROWING DIRECT SALES COMPANY IN THE WORLD.

IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD! 

If you are or even if you aren't familiar with MLM then you know this is significant!

You can see my timeline of achievements with Younique by clicking here.  I am struggling to achieve BLACK STATUS again.  I haven't hit it since January this year.  It's VERY DIFFICULT to see all the money left on the table month after month once you've had a taste of it!  I am confident that JUNE IS MY MONTH to see it again and I'm super excited! 

When I started with Younique we had NOTHING!  No training, no back office, only a few products, no tools.  Just us!  My team was growing so fast that I made a decision early on to focus on supporting them.  For me, this meant spending time developing training tools and groups and calls etc.  Since I also have a regular full time job, and there are only 24 hours in a day, I had some tough choices to make.  Build my business, or help them build theirs.  I chose to help them build theirs.  I knew at that time that it would pay off and it certainly has.  But now, Younique has provided these tools and my team is so huge, I'm struggling to refocus on my own book of business.  Although my team doesn't need my daily interaction any longer, they still come to me and I still focus on them.  I'm thinking I need to find a way to balance pulling back some and focusing on my own business for a bit.  Otherwise, I can see myself sitting at PURPLE STATUS for eternity!  Meanwhile, those that come in TODAY, have everything in place that they need to plow forward.  It is very exciting to see so many BLACK STATUS presenters below me.  Many have achieved the highest status very quickly and lives are changing!  I was the 11th Presenter in the history of YOUNIQUE to achieve BLACK STATUS.  Isn't that an amazing thing?  I believe there are about 26 total now. 

I have tipped my toe in the DS industry so I know only enough to be dangerous. I know there are some people making BIG money in many companies. It's a beautiful thing.  However, I have never heard of this many people making this kind of money in the SAME company! Certainly not this early on.  I could be wrong of course.  But, everyone can achieve at Younique. There are no elitists, no secret, unattainable wealth clubs limited to only a select few.  Here, everyone is equal.  It doesn't matter if you joined last year or if you join today.  Work it, commit to it and its YOURS.

We are closing on a rental property, hopefully next week!  We are working with our financial planner to develop a plan to have The Hubs retire within the year.  We have a lot of dreams and plans and goals. We need to narrow down and focus our list!  EXCITING STUFF!

AMAZING APRIL!

 

 

 

I love beach glass (sea glass).... I have spent hours upon HOURS walking the beaches of Alaska and Hawaii (mostly) on the hunt for these little treasures.  I have quite a collection as you can imagine.  When I find a shard I get SO EXCITED!  Some avid hunters only collect "jewelry grade" pieces (larger) but Im excited about EVERY piece!  Big and small!  

 

I feel the same way about my Younique business.  I am just as excited when a Presenter makes her very first sale as I am when someone in my Company receives their charm for selling $10k in PRS!  No sale or positive movement in this business is "too small".  Nothing is insignificant!  Every person that launches their own Ybiz and every single product we sell is just as important as the next! 

I LOVE EVERY BEAUTIFUL PIECE OF IT!

As our culture becomes more environmentally friendly, sea glass is becoming harder and harder to find.  Its one of those sad yet happy things right?  Thankfully, humans aren't using the ocean as their personal trash bin any longer, but that also means MUCH LESS GLASS is available on the beaches. Of course you can buy fake "sea glass" that has been produced to look like it has been tumbled for decades by the sea... but what fun is that?   

So, us glass lovers need to get creative sometimes.  Just like in our network marketing business.  My friend Cindy makes necklace pendants from sea glass and she made this necklace for me.  I love it.  She mostly tumbles her own glass now.  This particular piece (pictured above) is from a dish that belonged to her mother-in-law.  The dish was cracked so Cindy broke it into chunks and tumbled the pieces in her rock tumbler.  I think it is special just the way it is.  Even if it wasn't from the sea.

 

 

This week I am working from Maui.  I was fortunate enough to earn a trip here based on my performance at my corporate JOB.  Of course the beautiful thing about my YOB (Your Own Business) with Younique is that we are mobile baby!  I am literally typing this blog entry while sitting on the lanai, listening to the waves and watching the sunset.  It is a blessed life for sure!

 

I'm often asked when I plan to retire from my JOB.  I don't have an answer for that yet.  Clearly I've more than replaced both our incomes with my Younique income at this point but what is the magic number?!  How do I know when we will have enough to live the way we want to live? 

Im not ready to retire just yet!

If I can continue to find the balance between both worlds for as long as possible, it will give me more time to build the staircase to our dream board and will give us more options to do more good.

I will say it is tempting!  Just to think that BEACH MONEY for me is a reality!  It's tempting to jump the gun and leave the corporate world behind.  When I stop and give that some thought, it doesn't seem like the fiscally responsible thing to do right now!  Ill keep plugging away and enjoying these sunny moments while I can!

What Younique is doing for me though is giving me the ability to take some serious FURLOUGH from my JOB so that we can do some DOWN TIME DAMAGE this summer in Alaska!

706 new Presenters in November alone!  As of right now, 12/5/13, we are at 1460 Presenters!  Amazing growth in November and so far, December is on track for DOUBLE! 

In November we had some VERY exciting things happen!  One of the most exciting was having my Sponsor, Nichole Smith (Presenter #36) be the second Presenter to reach BLACK STATUS with Younique!  But the VERY MOST EXCITING was having my girls Briana and Amy both hit BLACK AS WELL!  Since they hit in November, they each received a $10k bonus check PLUS a $1k FPP bonus!  AWESOME! I made $9477 in November!  I'm not even in the top 5 earners this month!  It has been so inspiring to see the money that these women are making with YOUNIQUE and their NWM business.  GIRL POWER!  I was so hoping that I would also be one of the first 10 to hit BLACK.  I WILL get there one day.  ZERO question about that.  I am working hard to get there before the Race to 10k Presenters is over!  You must be one of the first 10 to qualify BEFORE we hit 10k Presenters in order to receive the $10 bonus check!  I predict we will hit 10k Presenters by early January.

I've always been open about my time management issues!  Somedays I feel like I am improving and then other days I feel like it is NEVER going to get better.  This is by far my sigle biggest issue that I struggle with.  Admittedly, my issues are self imposed for the most part. I am constantly striving to improve.  Since Younique is so new, they do not have a model developed yet that makes YOUNIQUE easily duplicable.  There is no training or single place you can go for info so we are CONSTANLTY training, answering the same Qs over and over.  It is exhausting.

As I'm blissfully drowning in my own success and treading water daily to keep up with the beautiful explosion of our business, I know for a fact I am not the only one! My amazing Sponsor Nichole and I often use each other as a sounding board in search of sanity when we have totally lost it and want to SCREAM when we see Presenters asking the very basic Qs over and over and over.  Trying to teach our DL to be great leaders is key.  We know this and we are trying!  Even when we do create documents/tools and put them in place, it seems that very few people take the time to educate themselves.  They search for the path of least resistance and that is usually us and we MUST CHANGE THIS MENTALITY!

Melanie posted some brilliant advice that I hope will ring as true with other NWM Presenters as it did with me.  I think if I can adapt this train of thought, quit trying to be all things to everyone, my life may get easier!

A coach works with those who are willing and show promise, and they don’t put up with crap or put up with whining and complaining. They are usually highly respected with firm expectations. So my advice is to first realize -- You can’t “fix” their problems, nor should you try, but you can however, “coach” them by leading, which includes training the masses like Derek mentioned. OH-M-YOUNIQUE!  What a day we had!

So today was INSANE for my team and for me personally!  I have added 4 Presenters to my first generation in the last 24 hours.  The 100 No's Challenge is really doing AMAZING things for my team.  So many people are using the tool to grow their teams and the numbers are showing!

Lots of my lovelies struggle with stepping outside their comfort zone to talk with people about YOUNIQUE.  So I made THIS VIDEO in hopes that it would encourage them!  ENJOY!

When October closed we had 616 Presenters.  As of THIS MOMENT we are up to 1213!  CRAZY RIGHT?  We are also at approx $280k in wholesale sales!  On track to make $300k this month for the company!  WOWZA!

Total Younique Presenters: 4,977 (1,667 in November). Almost halfway to our Race to 10K Presenters. November new Presenters will be over 2,000 by the time the month is over. That’s exponential growth if I've ever seen it! The waves are coming and those of you in the water already better get ready to ride!

November Sales are booming! I mean, seriously booming. We are already over 1.4 million in sales this month and November will be 100% growth in a single month. That’s right, I fully expect us to double what we did in October at the pace we are on right now. That just doesn’t happen very often in business but you’re doing it!


Today we announced our first ever Presenter to hit BLACK STATUS and that is Debi Jackson!  I had the pleasure of meeting Debi in person at Convention last year and we have a friendly little rivalry going.  Well I'M FRIENDLY... SHE IS JUST MEAN!  JK!  She is awesome!  We snapped photos of us stabbing each other with knives and forks so it has sorta carried on.  Im excited for her!  Debi qualified to receive a $10k bonus this month because she was one of the first 10 Presenters to reach Black before we have 10k Presenters!  AMAZING!  So, congrats to my fellow Ysister Debi!  LIVING THE BEACH MONEY DREAM!!

Today my Company hit 1000!

 

 

Yeah, to say I'm FREAKING out would be an understatement!  Earlier today my Company Downline hit 1,000! 

As of this very moment we are actually at 1,009! 

That means the AMAZING women and men on my team have added 393 new Presenters to my Company in just 18 days!  I can't even begin to tell you how huge that is for me personally.  It was a personal goal of mine (that I HOPED to hit in January of 2014) and Im just so FREAKIN' EXCITED! 

So what is the second thing I did? You know the FIRST thing I did was post it all over FB!  The SECOND thing I did was call my Mommy!  She is so supportive!  The best mom EVER!  Shows up at my events and it doesn't matter if Im 4 or 44!  She is there!  My own personal cheering section!  Hey?  Have you met my momma?  Here she is!  Her name is Patti.

ALSO!  We are on track to sell $200k in Company WHOLESALES in November!  This is HUGE!  My people are AMAZING!

 

 

During my flight to LV yesterday, I had a long layover in Seattle, so I set up a meeting with some of the YPresenters in my DL that live in the area (CHA-CHING Tax deduction! whoop whoop). 

And you KNOW this girl loves a THEME!  So, UGLY TEDDY BEAR SWEATER it was! 

Theme was chosen and this weekend I was OFF to find the most hideously awesome teddy bear sweatshirt or sweater I could! 

'Nobody puts Baby in a corner!'

 

 I'm sure you are wondering how that went?  NOTHING!  NO WHERE!  NOT A SINGLE THING!  UGH!  I was freaking out!  How could I show up to my own event out of character!?  Why would I want to?  It was a travesty!  The local thrift stores in Anchorage really let me down this week!  I should have called my sister and brought in the BIG GUNS!  She is the SCORE-DORABLE Queen of the world!

So, I improvised!  Now, if you've read any of my past blogs, you KNOW I have a stock of mumu's.  I had some safety pins and of course I had a box of ORIGINAL Beanie Babies in the closet (WHAT!?  They are totally gonna make me rich someday! pft! Whatever!  Good thing I have Younique for that!) so the teddy bear mumu plan was hatched! I MacGyvered something FANTASTIC!

 

This is me taking a selfie in the mirror in the women's bathroom at SEATAC yesterday.... I strutted my cookies through the Seattle airport in this get up!  WITH PRIDE EVEN!  Challanging lookers on to question me and open the door to a YOUNIQUE smackdown! 

I'm looking back and shaking my head at  my own self right now! 

How and why do I come up with this stuff?

Oh that's right... CAUSE ITS AWESOME! 

If there ever comes a day I say "I'm not in the mood for a costume... or a theme"  Then Y'all better grab your coats cause HELL IS ABOUT TO BE FREEZIN' OVER!

I'm pretty sure I smelled like pee. No clue why! I wash and wear this mumu often (yes! OFTEN) so I know it was clean.  Do you just sorta automatically smell like pee when you wear one?  I was just so confused about where the pee smell was coming from! The mumu was VERY hot (as in sweating not as in "LOOKIN' HOT"), the pee smell kept getting worse..... I only lasted about an hour and had to take it off. 

Oh yeah and of course I chose a table under the big screen and it was Football Sunday!  Even if no one was staring, it sure felt like they were!

Now to end today's BLOG POST with a FUNNY!  I'm seriously STILL LAUGHING about this.  You kinda had to be there I guess but imagine if you will......

 

 

 

So, on my flight from SEA to LAS VEGAS (whoot whoot) yesterday, this guy was in the seat next to me.  My seat mate!   I was fascinated by him the entire flight. 

To clarify....YES, that is a sleep mask!  And, YES, those are legit COKE BOTTLE GLASSES!  And, YES, that is him "reading" his Kindle!  WHAT THE WHAT?! 

Crazy right? 

AND!  That "smirk" on his face?  Um... yeah... that was PERMANENTLY there the entire flight!  I think it was some kind of "condition".  I could not for the life of me figure it out!  Side note... he LITERALLY checked his watch every 3 minutes.  I TIMED HIM!  Like 3 minutes ON THE DOT!  Oh, and did I mention he was totally deaf?  So the Flight Attendant would lean over me and SCREAM at him so he could hear her offerings!  At first I was like "SERIOUSLY DUDE"?  But by the end of the flight I was all like "BLESS HIS LITTLE HEART".  Cracked me UP!  I was all worried about how I was going to sneak a photo of him but CLEARLY that wasn't going to be an issue. 

Needless to say I did NOT share my Younique business and gift opportunity with the kind Gent.  I wasn't in the mood to yell and whatnot.  Hope I didn't miss some amazing boat with that judgement call!

I can't stop thinking about how crazy this dude was and how he was making NO SENSE to me what so ever!  As I giggle about it now and think to myself "what a wacko".... I'm reminded that I just got done typing about how I was wearing a mumu, covered in bears and smelling like pee only moments before I sat down next to this guy... who's the crazy one now?
