Yesterday I celebrated my third year of success with my incredible Network marketing company!  There are so many people to honor and thank that have helped me in my journey.

I am eternally grateful to the very first person that ever agreed to host a party.  That was my daughter Brittany.

I still remember how excited I was to receive my first ever order notification!  My friend Debbie was the first person to ever place an order and she loves our 3D+ mascara to this day!

The first person to sign up as a success partner in my business is my dear friend Amanda!  I'm so happy to still run my business with her support to this day!

Of course all of my friends and family and customers are priceless and I couldn't do any of it without you all!

I also posted this very special message to every Presenter in my company.

I wanted to pop in here and say THANK YOU to each of you!
Awhile back I made a video about how we are all on the same team we just wear different jerseys. Without each of you working your business and supporting your own tribes, none of the success I've been blessed with could happen!  It takes an entire village. Not one single of us is strong enough to row this boat alone.

I'm honored to have been here early and to have helped pave the way. It's my truest honor to continue to work hard everyday to create a supportive, strong and smart business culture so that each of YOU, and each of your success partners, current and future, have the opportunity to realize their "why" and make all their dreams come true.

If each of you weren't doing your part, I wouldn't have all of the gifts I have in my life today.  I want you to know that I am acutely aware of your roll in my success.  I believe this mindset is one of the reasons we have such an incredible sisterhood. Across generations and across teams. This mindset of unifying, empowering and validating is why we are so successful in the industry and why every single presenter that comes to my team with previous experience, cannot get over the love they find here. We are building something bigger than anyone can fathom.

I'm eternally grateful for Derek Maxfield and Melanie Maxfield Huscroft, as well as our entire corporate team. However, maybe a tiny bit more than all that, I'm grateful to each of you Leaders for everything you've done, and all you have planned to make your dreams come true.

Because, coincidentally, by blissful default, your efforts have made all of my dreams come true too. Thank you.

Your MLM business is WILLABLE! WHAT?! YEP!

Let's chat briefly about this amazing feature of you MLM Network Marketing business!  DID YOU REALIZE IT IS WILLABLE?  Oh yes it is sister!  You can also SELL your book of business!  This is true for most companies that I am aware of.  Double check your Company and their contracts but YOU NEED TO KNOW! 

And you also need to make sure your business is handled.  Be sure your paperwork is in order and your personal affairs are ON POINT!  None of us want to think about this possibility but HELLO... We are empowered! 

We handle our business!

On 12/31/14 I officially retired from the position I held in Corporate America for over 20 years.  I gave it all up for my Network Marketing biz!  Let me tell you, even as blessed as I have been with my MLM company, this was not an easy life change for me to make!

I earned multiple six figures in my previous job.  In 2009 I earned over $400k in one year.  I don't mind sharing that in the last 10 years or so, my annual salary (not including 2009) averaged $150k-$200k.  LISTEN!  That may not seem like much to you.  However, for this self doubting, non-degreed, work-your-way-up-from-the-bottom-to-the-top gal, it was HUGE!  In my late 20's, I thankfully recognized the need to manage my money well.  I stayed out of debt, I married a man with the same goals and someone on the same page financially.  Looking back, I pat myself on the back but its NOTHING compared to what is coming up.  Since I was able to make those decisions early on, it has put me in the position I am today.  The position to be able to chose.

I was comfortable in the knowledge that I could support my kids on my own if needed.  That I had "made it" in my environment.  I was a top performer in that company.  In fact, I was ranked Top 6 every year I held my last position.  Most years I was in the top 3 performers.

I've shared before how much I love the company I (used) to work for!  I love the people, I loved that I could work from home, basically set my own schedule and you know I LOVED having a company vehicle!  I haven't had a car payment in about 10 years!  That was awesome!  The incentive trips were great, the 401K, the health insurance was reasonable and the salary seemed (for the most part) fair.  I was comfortable. I knew what I was doing day in and day out.  I could do a majority of my job in my sleep.  Sounds pretty amazing right?  I thought it was a dream job.  And then I was introduced to Network Marketing!

So... why in the heck would I waltz away from such a sweet gig to sell products and mentor others to do the same?  BECAUSE I'M A BELIEVER IN MORE!  SPOILER ALERT!  Someday soon I plan to share my entire story in a lifestyle video so I won't drone on and on here.  Just know.... I BELIEVE THERE IS MORE! 

Maybe this industry can give you more too.  Maybe you can do more with a Network Marketing company than you ever thought you could?  YOU CAN!

I was capped out at my job and I knew we wanted more!  I knew I could earn more! I had more in me.  I DESERVED MORE!  I mean seriously!  Look at what I accomplished with the limitations put on my by the corporate world.  All that with ZERO college education!  I was a pregnant teen on "the system" in 1990 and FLASH FORWARD to 2014.... WOW RIGHT!?  Not to toot my own horn but I created something pretty amazing with my life. 

Network Marketing allows ANYONE from ANY walk of life the same opportunity to achieve.  You only need to commit.  For two years I've been working 2 full time jobs.  It was time to let one go... guess which one...  I'M A FREE WOMAN!

#TheHubs and I recently updated our will and I had a major light bulb moment.  MY MLM business is WILLABLE to my family!  WHAT THE WHAT?!  When I die, my children (or anyone I chose) can inherit my business!  They can manage it, or sell it!  You probably don't need me to tell you how awesome that is! 

PLEASE protect yourself and your family!  In 2015 please be sure to update your personal documents and that your network marketing company is protected if something were to happen to you.  In most cases, your business can be passed onto anyone you chose.  If your children are under age, you can assign someone to manage it for them.  You can give your direction to sell your book of business and gift the proceeds to anyone you chose.  LOOK INTO IT!

 

Getting “The Hubs” involved…..

I realize that not all married women are as lucky as I am.  Many don’t have supportive husbands or even husbands that TOLORATE their MLM/DS dreams!  My poor hubs never had a choice.  Support in my household isn’t an option.  By force or by nature, I am one of the lucky ones.  He is very open and supportive of all my shenanigans!  You must get your Significant Other (SO) on board if you are ever going to be truly successful.  Its up to you to decide if that is a possibility.  Include them in creating your goals and your vision board.  Include them in your business milestones and your progress.  Also include them by sharing your struggles and concerns.  This is their JOB as your SO... they have a role to play as your support team.  Your cheerleading squad.  Your champion.

Last night The Hubs and I had dinner with our friends Karen and Milo.  Karen recently launched her own Direct Sales biz and chose YOUNIQUE!  Yah know…. Cause she is a genius!  ANY-WHOOO……

There we were at dinner the guys are chit chatting about man stuff while Karen and I chit chatted about world domination one set of eyelashes at a time, when all the sudden they were pulled into the convo.  Karen was strongly suggesting to Milo that he should parade around town in a tshirt with her website on the front!  I of course had her back 100% because I thought it was a brilliant idea! 

The Hubs then suggested that perhaps there was an untapped market down at the local strip club and that he and Milo should ABSOLUTELY hustle right down there and network! 

You know... on behalf of our business!

Who knew our SO's were such givers?!  smh...... 

As we outwardly POO-POO'd their idea... don't think for one second that Karen and I aren't on THAT like rats on CHEESE!  Stay tuned for how that turns out....

I believe there is so much (often) unappreciated value in the idea’s that float around in the heads of our significant others (SO’s).  Maybe we don't give them enough credit.  Have we really asked?  Have we really shared?  Have we really listened?  We should never discount their thoughts or opinions and we should NEVER not include them in our wins and our struggles.

I posted a tip quite awhile ago about ALWAYS sending your SO out the door with a pocket full of you biz cards.  Just making him aware of opportunities is a positive fall forward for your business.  So, RIGHT NOW, go put some biz cards in his wallet/her purse!  Give them to your kids!  Arm your loved ones with what they need to have in order to support the dreams and goals you have as a family.

Today I had the pleasure of a Skype meeting with one of my beautiful first levels, TIFFANY!  Tiffany's husband is in the pest control industry.  This calls for him to be inside many homes a day!  He has access to HUNDREDS of Stay at Home Moms in any given month!

So... we got to thinking!  What if we developed a challenge for him.  Of course it would also hold a handsome reward as well!  CLICK HERE TO SEE THE CHALLENGE WE CAME UP WITH!

 

Include your SO in your biz!  Bounce idea's off of them.  Just because they may not wear makeup or use your product, doesn't mean they don't have some thoughts or suggestions on how you may be able to grow!  Don't assume they don't care, aren't interested or won't be supportive.  TRY IT!

Not that June from Honey BOOBOO isn't a lovely temptress... I meant the MONTH OF JUNE!  BTW... if anyone has any connections to Honey BOOBOO or June, let me know!  I wanna send them FREE 3D mascara! 

So many amazing goodness happened in JUNE!  For one, I celebrated my 42nd birthday!  WAHOO!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!  Don't I look GOOD for an old lady?

June represented the largest team growth month for my leg of YOUNIQUE!  During the month of June, my team added a total of 6,280 Presenters!

 

DID YOU HEAR ME?  I SAID 6,280!



That means an average of 209.3333 presenters PER DAY during the month of June!  Crazy right?  The momentum is out of control!  For example, today is 7/8/14 and as of typing this post, my company has already grown by 1,764 Presenters in July.  Younique as a company currently has a total of 54,272 Presenters GLOBALLY. 

Of those 54,272 Presenters, 29,365 are in my company!

During the Month of July, Younique is offering FREE SHIPPING on all Presenter Kits.  Our Co-Founders shared recently that this has been the most costly KUDOS offering ever by Corporate and this will be the very last month it is ever offered.  I can certainly see how that may be the case since we are open to Presenters in USA, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, To the USVI's, Guam and to anyone with an APO/FPO address (global military locations).  Can you imagine the shipping costs that Younique is absorbing?  WOW!

I had to block a couple Presenters this month and it hurt my heart.....

I have a difficult time working with a blanket of negativity on a regular basis.  I don't see the value in moseying through life with a glass half empty attitude and a "woe is me" point of view.  I for sure struggle with vulgar and profane expressions and projections on innocent people.  It is amazing I suppose that with the sheer volume of people in my company that we don't get hit with more of this I suppose.  For that, I am certainly thankful!

This month, I had to remove some people from my group and from my friends list on FB.  I've never met these people in real life but it still stung a bit... yah know?

One time consuming and previously unconsidered issue with having a team so huge, is all the different personalities that come into your life.  The 'Human Resource' side of Network Marketing.  But, I am learning and growing and doing my best to influence positive and empowering feelings in my Company.  IM TRYING PEOPLE!

As of this morning, there are approximately 42,683 Presenters (GLOBALLY) with Younique.  We launched in Australia on May 1st and just launched in New Zealand on June 1st!  Of course we are already in the USA and Canada as well.

Of those 42k Presenters, 21,757 of them are in my Downline.  Clearly I don't have direct contact with all 22k of my team members.  Thankfully my leaders are LEADING!  But, I do have direct contact with several thousand and I LOVE THEM! Keep in mind, I am Founding Presenter #319 and launched my own business in Feb/2013.  Look how far we've come! Isn't this momentum INSANE?
 

Our Co-Founders recently announced that very shortly we will have confirmation that Younique is THE FASTEST GROWING DIRECT SALES COMPANY IN THE WORLD.

IN THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD! 

If you are or even if you aren't familiar with MLM then you know this is significant!

You can see my timeline of achievements with Younique by clicking here.  I am struggling to achieve BLACK STATUS again.  I haven't hit it since January this year.  It's VERY DIFFICULT to see all the money left on the table month after month once you've had a taste of it!  I am confident that JUNE IS MY MONTH to see it again and I'm super excited! 

When I started with Younique we had NOTHING!  No training, no back office, only a few products, no tools.  Just us!  My team was growing so fast that I made a decision early on to focus on supporting them.  For me, this meant spending time developing training tools and groups and calls etc.  Since I also have a regular full time job, and there are only 24 hours in a day, I had some tough choices to make.  Build my business, or help them build theirs.  I chose to help them build theirs.  I knew at that time that it would pay off and it certainly has.  But now, Younique has provided these tools and my team is so huge, I'm struggling to refocus on my own book of business.  Although my team doesn't need my daily interaction any longer, they still come to me and I still focus on them.  I'm thinking I need to find a way to balance pulling back some and focusing on my own business for a bit.  Otherwise, I can see myself sitting at PURPLE STATUS for eternity!  Meanwhile, those that come in TODAY, have everything in place that they need to plow forward.  It is very exciting to see so many BLACK STATUS presenters below me.  Many have achieved the highest status very quickly and lives are changing!  I was the 11th Presenter in the history of YOUNIQUE to achieve BLACK STATUS.  Isn't that an amazing thing?  I believe there are about 26 total now. 

I have tipped my toe in the DS industry so I know only enough to be dangerous. I know there are some people making BIG money in many companies. It's a beautiful thing.  However, I have never heard of this many people making this kind of money in the SAME company! Certainly not this early on.  I could be wrong of course.  But, everyone can achieve at Younique. There are no elitists, no secret, unattainable wealth clubs limited to only a select few.  Here, everyone is equal.  It doesn't matter if you joined last year or if you join today.  Work it, commit to it and its YOURS.

In my personal life, The Hubs and I continue to travel quite often.  For work and play.  You can see some of our activity by Following my travel board on Pinterest!  When we aren't running around, we are enjoying the beautiful days in Alaska!

 

We are closing on a rental property, hopefully next week!  We are working with our financial planner to develop a plan to have The Hubs retire within the year.  We have a lot of dreams and plans and goals. We need to narrow down and focus our list!  EXCITING STUFF!
